1. Scope of application
1.1 This website www.kulo.ch is operated by CIS-Centre d’Intégration Socioprofessionnelle.
1.2 These general terms and conditions of sale apply to orders for products placed by email, mobile phone, or online with the CIS-Centre d’Intégration Socioprofessionnelle (Center for Socio-Professional Integration) since October 15, 2025.
1.3 By placing an order with CIS-Centre d’Intégration Socioprofessionnelle, the buyer unreservedly accepts the application of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
2. Control
2.1Each item is designed and handmade by employees in sheltered employment at the kulô workshop, under the supervision of a socio-professional master craftsman.
2.2 Each product is unique, even if it comes from the same model. During production, shapes, colors, and dimensions may vary slightly. By purchasing a kulô brand product, the buyer is aware that the product is handmade and accepts that it may have slight imperfections that do not affect its use. However, we ensure that these are kept to a minimum.
3. Contract conclusion
3.1 CIS-Centre d’Intégration Socioprofessionnelle accepts no responsibility for the fact that goods ordered can no longer be delivered due to lack of available stock, additional supply, or production.
3.2 Orders placed onwww.kulo.ch will be accepted while supplies last. The order is final upon confirmation of purchase. The sales contract is deemed to have been concluded at the time of order confirmation.
3.3 Within 24 (twenty-four) hours of confirming the order, the buyer may ask the CIS-Centre d’Intégration Socioprofessionnelle to modify or cancel the contract (except for personalized products). Cancellation is also possible in the event of an obvious pricing error or a delivery delay exceeding 30 days beyond the announced delivery date.
3.4 Custom-made or personalized items, as well as items that have already been shipped, cannot be modified or canceled.
4. Reservation of ownership
4.1 CIS-Centre d’Intégration Socioprofessionnelle retains ownership of the goods sold and delivered until the purchase price has been paid in full.
5. Awards
5.1 Prices are quoted in Swiss francs (CHF), including VAT where applicable.
5.2 Sales prices do not include delivery charges. Delivery charges are added to the sale price and are indicated in the order summary ("basket").
5.3 CIS-Centre d’Intégration Socioprofessionnelle reserves the right to change prices freely and at any time. The price in effect is the price displayed at the time of purchase.
6. Resellers
6.1 The buyer may only resell the purchased goods with the prior written consent of CIS-Centre d’Intégration Socioprofessionnelle. Requests must be sent to hello@kulo.ch.
6.2 If an agreement is reached, the contractual relationship will be defined explicitly (firm sale or resale mandate on commission). The reseller undertakes, in particular, to communicate the intended resale prices, to provide a sales report on request, and to pay the agreed amounts in accordance with the contractual terms and conditions.
7. Delivery charges
7.1 A contribution to postage and packing varies according to the amount of the order:

8. Delivery time
8.1 Delivery times :
- Orders placed on the website are shipped Monday through Friday via standard mail. The usual delivery time is 3 business days.

8.2 Delivery times are provided for informational purposes only. However, if a delay exceeds 30 days beyond the announced delivery time, the buyer may request cancellation of the order and obtain a refund.
9. Delivery
9.1 Deliveries are made weekly from Monday to Friday, by USPS, via Standard Mail, only within the United States. In case of urgent requests, it is possible to contact us to arrange for Priority Mail. Additional fees apply.
9.2 When confirming the order, the buyer is solely responsible for the accuracy of the contact details provided. In the event of an error in the customer's contact details that could prevent delivery of the product, CIS-Centre d'Intégration Socioprofessionnelle shall not be held liable.
9.3 If a product is not delivered or is incomplete, the buyer has a maximum of one week (after the delivery date) to report this. After this period, the claim will not be accepted.
9.4 The CIS-Centre d’Intégration Socioprofessionnelle (Social and Professional Integration Center) is closed on public holidays and non-working days in the State of Fribourg, as well as on long weekends. Among other things, the CIS closes annually between Christmas and New Year's Day. During these closures, orders will only be shipped one day per week. The exact dates will be communicated on kulô's media and website when the time comes.
10. Transfer of risk
10.1 For private consumers, the risk of loss or damage is transferred only at the time of actual delivery of the product by the Post Office.
10.2 For professional buyers, the transfer of risks occurs as soon as the package is handed over to the Post Office.
10.3 If the buyer returns goods to CIS-Centre d’Intégration Socioprofessionnelle, the buyer bears the risks until the goods are received by CIS-Centre d’Intégration Socioprofessionnelle.
11. Return or exchange policy
11.1 Items delivered by CIS-Centre d’Intégration Socioprofessionnelle may be returned within 14 days of receipt of delivery.
11.2 Returned items must be intact and complete, in their original packaging.
11.3 Customized or personalized items cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances.
11.4 Return shipping costs are at the buyer's expense.
12. Payment
12.1 Payment for goods can be made by credit card (Visa, Mastercard) and TWINT.
12.2 Payment by invoice is only possible for customization requests.
12.3 CIS-Centre d’Intégration Socioprofessionnelle reserves the right to restrict certain payment methods based on the customer's profile (e.g., order history).
12.4 Regardless of the payment method used, the buyer understands and accepts that their payment may be processed by a financial intermediary subject to legal obligations regarding money laundering.
12.5Any order may be subject to a request for a partial or full deposit. In this case, an order will be processed upon receipt of the requested deposit.
12.6 In the event of a return of goods, the deposit paid by the buyer will be refunded upon request and after the buyer has provided their bank details.

12.7 In the event of payment by installment, the buyer must use the details provided on the invoice. The buyer may make a bank transfer, indicating the IBAN received when placing the order and their customer number as the reason for payment, or use the payment slip provided. Depending on the total amount, a deposit may be requested before production begins.

12.8 In the event of payment by credit card or TWINT, the buyer will be charged at the time of ordering. If an item is out of stock or canceled, CIS-Centre d'Intégration Socioprofessionnelle will refund the buyer to their card or TWINT account.
12.9 CIS-Centre d’Intégration Socioprofessionnelle is in no way liable for any debit-related fees (not applicable to TWINT).
12.10 Credit cards may only be used for purchases made via the website. Credit cards cannot be used for orders placed by email (custom or personalized orders). For TWINT, a QR code can be sent by email for prepayment.
13. Product verification
13.1 If the product is damaged upon receipt of the package, the buyer must notify us of any complaints within 48 hours of receipt at the email address hello@kulo.ch. The money-back guarantee can only be applied if a written request is made, stating the reasons for the return and accompanied by photographic evidence.
13.2 If no complaint is made within this period, the product shall be deemed to have been accepted, except for hidden defects.

15. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
15.1 For private consumers, the place of jurisdiction is the buyer's or seller's place of residence, in accordance with Swiss law. For B2B relationships, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Fribourg.
